Amazon Monday Deals: Digital Cameras, Coen Bros, Walking Dead, Spidey, Animated DCU, Kill Bill, New
The pre-Thanksgiving sales are flowing quickly (and are volatile; I've literally had to delete three deals that were there when I started this post).

The Deal of the Day is on the FujiFilm FinePix SL300 14MP Digital Camera for $149.95 (46% off) in either red or black.

If you prefer a different camera, the Olympus XZ-1 Digital Camera is on sale for $199.99 (50% off, but really about $50 below other retailers). The Swann Freestyle 1080p HD Waterproof Sports Video Camera is also down to $129.99 (54% off, about $13 below other retailers),

The Blu-Ray of the Week is The Coen Brothers Collection (with Fargo, Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing, and Raising Arizona) for $19.99 (71% off). That's $5 a movie.

The TV DVD Deal of the Week is on The Walking Dead, with sets of the first two seasons anywhere from 54-65% off on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Elf on Blu Ray is $9.49 (53% off). The same goes for A Christmas Story on Blu-Ray, while National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and the 1947 version of Miracle on 34th Street are $9.99 (50% off) each on Blu-Ray.

Kill Bill Volume 1 and Volume 2 are each $6.99 (65% off) on Blu-Ray.

The Amazing Spider-Man (Limited Edition Four-Disc Combo: Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD pluse figurines of Spidey and The Lizard) is on sale for $39.99 (58% off), while over in the DCU, the Blu-Ray Dark Knight Trilogy is on sale for $29.96 (43% off) on pre-order.

Also cheap on Blu-Ray: My Bloody Valentine 3D for $7.50. See the "More Buying Choices," as Amazon's backordered and defaulting to someone who has it in stock. Since you really only need to own this by Valentine's Day, that shouldn't be a problem. I actually didn't hate this as much as I hate most horror remakes. The twist is utterly predictable, but the over-the-top opening scene is fun in a ridiculous sort of way. And speaking of ridiculous fun, the box set of the first four Underworld movies is going for $26.13 on Blu-Ray. Assuming you judge the value of something based on how often Kate Beckinsale is in leather, this is as high value as it gets.

More Blu-Ray deals: Batman: Under the Red Hood ($7.99/73% off), Batman: Year One ($9.49/62% off), Justice League: The New Frontier Special Edition ($15/50% off), Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker ($7.88/61% off), Coraline ($9.99/50% off, includes both Blu-Ray and DVD)

On regular DVD, you can nab
No Country for Old Men for $5 (75% off), Serenity for $5 (61% off), Firefly for $19.96 (60% off), Justice League: The New Frontier for $5 (67% off), and Justice League Unlimited: Season Two for $7.47 (72% off)!

The BUFFALO MiniStation Stealth 1 TB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive is $79.99 (20% off, but really $10 below other retailers). Hey, remember last year when flooding in Thailand led to hard drives costing a billion dollars? Still affecting pricing, but not as much as last year.

In video games, there's a bunch of $10-off deals on hot new games, including LittleBigPlanet Karting ($49.99), NHL 13, Madden NFL 13, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, and potential Game of the Year candidate Dishonored.

Other good video game deals include Persona 4 Arena for $35.96 (40% off, but really about $8 less than anyone else has it for), Radiant Historia for the DS for $16.21 (46% off), Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for the PSP for $5.95 (40% off), and We Ski for the Wii for $4.79 (76% off).

In kitchen gadgets, the KitchenAid KSM75WH Classic Plus Tilt-Head 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer is $191 (36% off). Note that this one includes $10 shipping (as it's from Bealls through Amazon), but that's still nearly $80 below other sellers).

The Lodge Logic Dutch Oven with Loop Handles is $25.49 (42% off), and it's a damned fine product.

The Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker is already down to $69 (58% off, and a good $8 below anyone else after shipping), but there's a $7.50 instant coupon on that page, bringing it to $61.50. I'm a big fan of Cuisinart's coffeemakers (we've got this one, which has lasted us nearly four years and keeps coffee warm for a ridiculous period of time).

And finally, Amazon's got a deal on a 14-count set of Duracell Coppertop Duralock AA Batteries for $8.72 (34% off, but most sellers have it priced higher than retail), with a $.75 coupon also available on the page. You can then choose "Subscribe and Save" to cut it to $8.28 before the coupon, or $7.53 after it (and then cancel the subscription once the batteries have arrived). A nice way to stock up on batteries for $Winterholiday.
