"Yeah, the Princess Diaries was my favorite movie in the fourth grade. I used to watch it after school every day. One day, I watched it twice in a row, and my parents took it away from me and told me to tell people that my favorite movie was Star Wars."
I'm assuming the former, but I have to admit I'd have some serious struggles with the latter, whatever the gender, if "Beauty and the Beast" or "The Star Wars Christmas Special" or "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" was their favorite movie ever.
Charmed is a show that I have always enjoyed. There are great guest stars, soapy plot lines, and, well, fun ;)! My ex-boyfriend and current boyfriend both enjoyed it, so I see it as a sign of "good taste!"
BUT BUT ... he recognized that that was a shitty thing for them to do! It's not enough but the very fact that he's telling the story to friends and mocking that kind of stereotype - it's a notable move!
