1. We saw Brave this afternoon, and it was delightful. Easily one of my favorite Pixar films, somewhere near the top tier. Also the first major animated movie I can recall in ages that's about the relationship between a mother and a daughter and the importance of family; I have no idea why the far right is going nuts over it instead of trying to claim the message like they did with The Incredibles.
2. I finally started watching MI-5 (aka Spooks for folks who watch their TV in the UK), since it's on Amazon Prime. And four episodes in, I'm hooked. Hell, episode two hooked me; it has one of the few moments of TV that's genuinely shocked me. I suspect anyone who has watched the show knows what I'm referring to.
