A Watchmen reaction to/retcon of One More Day.

(Background: Marvel decided to pork Spider-Man continuity with Joe Quesada's Personal Sixteen-inch Unlubed Dildo of Retcon. It stunk even more than most of the stuff Marvel's published over the last few years.)

This, and the unmitigated gall of the death of Captain America at the end of Civil War, is why Marvel Comics will never, ever see a *f*cking dime* of my money, ever again.

Not that DC is much better...

Hahaha... ya know what sucks?

I just read the first issue of Brand New Day (I didn't buy it don't worry) and fuck it. It's good.

Sure the Jackpot concept (it's most definitely Mary Jane) is a far reaching/wtf idea, but Slott's writing was top notch and so was McNiven's art...

then the "status quo" thing at the end was great. The only things gone are that Peter ever married Mary Jane or that he revealed his identity to the world including every superhero... Which is a bit confusing... cause um... if The Avengers don't know who he is... then... um... everything that happened in New Avengers and Iron Man... um... wait... fuck.... okay... well... I'm ignoring the Spidey mess unless ya it's for free.

I might be giving the Gale/Winslade arc a try though, just cause ya know it's Gale and Winslade.
